Oak & Ivy

If you like a slightly quieter experience away from the Strip, I recommend the Oak & Ivy Bar in the Fremont area.

It is an American craft whiskey bar with an array of cocktails especially specializing in whiskey-based ones. We really loved it because the drinks were pretty different with its seasonal ingredients. A lot of the ingredients are also homemade.

They have really interesting cocktail options like “Smoke & Spice & Nothing Nice” which consist of BBQ bitters, Bourbon but I believe one of their most signature drink is called the “Apple Pie Harvest”.

The staff is also amazing and you can tell they have a passion for these cocktails.

We would totally go back.

The Oak & Ivy is located in the “The Container Park”, an open area repurposed with shipping containers and has cool boutique shops, unique restaurants, and live entertainment. It’s also in a very family-friendly spot with the kids’ park being centered. If you have children, they can play at the park right in front of you while you also enjoy some time sipping some nice cocktails ;)
